iMPeRFeCT Gallery is dedicating the entire gallery to this impromptu mini-retrospective of the life and work of John N. Phillips, a creative force, a master sculptor, a living pillar of our community and a powerful teddy bear with the kindest smile. We want to celebrate his poetry, his foundry, the photographs, the paintings, his teachings his whimsy and his friendship. Come and experience the energy, the magic and the simplicity that is John N. Phillips. You are all invited to see this living tribute!

John will be presenting PUJA, fifty years of art making. Books of poetry will mix with paintings from various incarnations, and sculpture in colorful bronze, plastic and cement. A long-time meditator, Phillips sees his work as, “My aspirations of offering and devotion.”

PUJA will be on view from Nov 3 – Nov 24, 2018

There are several events that accompany this exhibit, including an artist talk with John N. Phillips.
