iMPeRFeCT Gallery is excited and proud to invite you the Opening of "THE BRUSH THE PEN THE KNIFE", an exhibition featuring the works of Nina Hurwitz, TYWHO, and David Sweeny. This exhibition offers a diverse range of artistic styles, perspectives and tools from this trio of Philly artists that make up BPK Art Collective, a vibrant nascent group working out of Germantown. ABOUT THE ARTISTS
NINA HURWITZ
Also known as NINAS PAINT LIFE, Nina will be debuting her latest painting, a portrait of the iconic RuPaul, as part of her ongoing "HUGS" series. This series explores themes of connection and healing, and the RuPaul piece celebrates individuality and self acceptance. TYWHO
TYWHO, the artistic name of Tony Howard, will be debuting his works, "FINDING MY FUTURE", baseed on a series of graphic novels he publishes called "HOPALONG CALAMNSHII AND THE SYNAPTIC KUSH", available on Amazon. He contributes his unique perspective, blending visual art and design. DAVID SWEENY
birds.by.swilla is the vibrant work of multi-talented Germantown artist David Sweeny, also known as performer Johnny Showcase. Finely detailed birds popping on ecstatic color, reveling in the musicality of nature and the preservation of the ephemeral. “Because how else can I get them to stand still?”. IG: @birds.by.swilla
