When we saw the mural above by Chip Thomas and Ursula Rucker, just a block away from the gallery, we were immediately struck by its message, it hit so close to home we got goosebumps. This sentiment expresses just how we and everyone feels, jubilant to STILL be here, against all odds, with all the challenges we faced, WE ARE STILL HERE!!
This open call exhibition lured 124 artists out of their studios to show us what they've been up to and it's stunning.
Artists from everywhere helped us re-open with lots of love and a bang. This is Artists supporting Artists --- Artists coming together in communion and solidarity. Artists talking, arguing, engaging in conversation, making plans and celebrating art... This is Artists in community making magic.
