Opening Reception for Betsy Z. Casañas

This solo exhibition, “Si No Puedo Bailar, No Me Interesa Tu Revolucion! NI SANTA, NI PUTA, SOLO MUJER” by Betsy Z. Casañas runs from May 18 trough June 15, 2019.

The two project rooms, “THe GReaT GLaSS eLeVaToR” and “THe ReDRooM” will have installations created by the 2019 Senior Studio Class at Germantown Friends School, lead by Megan Culp, with a special window installation by Jake Russo from their Independent Studies Program, with Sarah Zwerling.

Screening "The Brother from Another Planet"

Gary Reed is a very special friend and local photographer, he documents important cultural events at iMPeRFeCT Gallery and beyond, and then shares them with all of us, we are lucky to have him.

This kind person is going through some hard times and we'd like to help, this screening of the science fiction film "The Brother from Another Planet"  is our way of allowing people to come together, have a good time and help a fellow artist. Please come!

The Brother from Another Planet (Rated R) is a 1984 science fiction film written, directed and edited by John Sayles. It stars Joe Morton as "The Brother", an alien and escaped slave who, while fleeing "Another Planet", has crash-landed and hides in Harlem. (1Hr 50Min)

Popcorn and wine will be provided. You are welcome to bring anything to share. $10.00 donation or whatever you can afford at the door. 100% of proceeds will go to help Gary.
