Above our doorway, there's a new frieze that has touched our hearts, our friend, neighbor, artist James Tafel Shuster has paid homage to artist Juan Carlito Cruz Adames, who we recently lost and who was due to paint the frieze himself this Fall. James created a digital image composed of Juan's trademark faces, printed it on parachute cloth and installed it for him.

We invite you to the unveiling of this moving tribute to a wonderful friend/artist that we lost too soon and miss so much. Please join us this Friday, Sept. 24, at 8pm as we make a toast to this labor of love, we will then transition to the first Friday Night Rumba that Juan loved so much.
