This will be a special Rumba night, Acheré Percussion will host an unveiling of their recent creations at iMPeRFeCT Gallery Studio (5547 Germantown Ave. #2A). Master drummers and drum makers Christian Noguera & Esteban Hernandez will be showcasing their handmade conga and batá drums and talk about their history and journey. If you are a professional drummer interested in these handmade Mahogany or Black Cherry beauties, it is worth your time and money, don’t miss it!!

Rumbas happen every Friday (except for Fridays before an opening). They are gatherings of people of different backgrounds and nationalities, united by their love of this Cuban call and respond tradition. We drum, sing, dance, share food and drinks. You may bring something to share!

A Rumba is not a performance, it’s an experience. Free and open to the public.
