The last exhibit of our exhibition season. iMPeRFeCT Gallery invites you to see the vision of two guest curators, Virginia Maksymowicz and Simone Spicer. the brains behind Salon des Refusés Philadelphia (Exhibition of Rejects), an artist curated exhibition of works not included in Woodmere Museum Annuals during the past five years..

Inspired by the 1863 Salon des Refusés in France, an exhibit in response to the Academy of Fine Arts' Paris Salon exhibition, which showed the works of the artists not included in the exhibit. Like the Parisians, Philadelphia artists refuse to be refused and Salon des Refusés Philadelphia was born.
